Serving in the French speaking islands of the Carribbean!

We are Kedesh and Stacey Jerome, serving under Baptist Missions to Forgotten Peoples (BMFP) as missionaries in the French islands of the Caribbean, sent by Hope For Life Baptist Church in Jacksonville Florida.

The Lord has enable us to start the only Independent Baptist church on the island of Guadeloupe where 95% of the population claims to be Roman Catholic and of whom Spiritism is widely practiced; 4% Hindu, and less than 0.2 % evangelical Christians cross denominational line. The total population is about half a million people. What a mission field! We are praying to open a Bible college there by next year. We are looking forward to planting more churches as the Lord leads us. And that is the reason it is important for us to train leaders so that we can integrate them directly into these churches as pastors.

Kedesh's Personal Testimony

God knows my weakness, needs, and sinful nature, before I was born. He gave me as parents two of His faithful servants. I can attribute my decision to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at the age of 6 to their examples and instructions.

The Lord called me as a missionary in the French Islands while I was in Bible College. Together with my wife Stacey, and our four children: Rachel, Priscilla, Joanna, and Kedesh Junior We are thankful towards God for what He has done and is doing through us in the French West Indies.

Stacey's Personal Testimony

My name is Stacey Jerome and I was born on the island of St. Kitts BWI. I was saved at an early age. I was very active in church and at the age of eighteen I surrendered my life to the Lord and went on to Bible College at age nineteen where I met my husband Kedesh.

The Lord has pressed the French West Indies as a whole upon his heart but at that time we were just dating. During that time I was praying for the Lord to give me peace in my heart about the French people and the whole idea about learning a new language just was not something I wanted to do but with the prayers of friends and family the Lord gave me the peace and love for the people there. We have spent 4 great years there and I am very grateful to God for the experience. Truly it has been a great learning experience.
